valentine's dday, a day for friends

hellos. i'm going to blog about VALENTINE'S DAY. i dare say this year's valentine's day was my best one. hahaha! surrounded with love from friends and family... well mostly friends. my family isn't all that ang mor. or whatever. i've come to realise that actually love can be so simple. haha. just a simple box of chocolate from mani had me so touched. lols. now i'll spend every of my valentine's day thinking about mani's box of chocolate without fail. HAHAHA!

thereafter there's some gifts exchange from friends and blah. close friends, best friends, whatever. sighs. i felt so guilty and regretful for not preparing little presents for our LAST VALENTINE'S together. come to think of it, it's quite sad. there'll be alot of LASTS this year. last sports carnival as a class, last mass run, last lesson on riverside, last time singing the national anthem and taking the ledge in the hall~~~ sighs. honestly, valentine's day '09 made me think alot, and made me learn to cherish our times together. i really don't feel like graduating at the end of the year. sighs. and starting from now i'm going to shoot as much pictures as i can of my friends and blah, and make my senior year a very memorable one. hahha. maybe by the end of the year me and mani can make a class video together and make everyone weep and cry together. WHAHAHAHAS!

dinner was at shuhui's on that day. she was our super chef for that day! WOOTS! ahahahah! cooked speghetti and blah. very nice. i ate alot;D played wii and blah. omg it's so fun. i never knew tennis was so fun man! hahahaha! then there's still strawberry cheesecake and blah. omg so nice. ahahhaha. i'll post pictures. now. lols/ my seoul garden pictures are not out yet. lol.

i'm ending soon, just want to say that, I WILL BE BUYING MY HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 DVD IFFICIALLY TOMORROW~~ WOOTS!!

it's been a long time.

hellos~ so long never post le. haha. i haven't been 'investing' much of my time on the computer these days. there's quite alot of things to be done, and blah. i have the cip things coming on, and i bet it'll be very fun and enjoyable, although sometimes the preparation work can be a little unnerving, but well, i think i'll gain alot from it.

i've started on tuition with isabel they all. met some friends and all. fun la, and there's one girl who likes zac efron and vanessa hudgens and hsm too! WOOTS! i reckon we'll have alot of fun as time passes. oh yea uncle lawrence and teacher elaine are very cute/ lols!

wednesday there's learning journey. me bernice blah blah blah and isabel went to the mint. isabel injure her leg, so changed her place and went with me to the mint instead. mrs sng was rather concerned about her legs. made me feel very touched. hahaha! the tour guide was rather intense at first. targeted me. i was like so tensed up under his scrutinizing eyes. oh my god i think i'm still getting goosebumps when i think about those intense eyes of his. but overall i stilllike him la, i can tell he's experienced. lols./

after that went for gathering at seoul garden. very fun, and very funny. lols. i'll post pictures on the next post. where i'll just dump some pictures taken over the months. yea, so that's it i think.haha.

The Action of 13 January 1797 was a famous naval battle fought between a French warship and two British frigates off the coast of Brittany during the French Revolutionary Wars. The frigates successfully outmanoeuvered the much larger French vessel and drove it on shore in heavy seas, resulting in the death of over 900 of the 1,630 persons aboard. One of the British frigates was also lost in the engagement, running onto a sandbank after failing to escape a lee shore.

The French 74-gun ships Droits de l'Homme had been part of the Expédition d'Irlande, a disastrous attempt by a French expeditionary force to invade Ireland. During the operation, the French fleet was plagued by poor coordination and violent weather, eventually returning to France without landing a single soldier. Two British frigates, the 38-gun HMS Indefatigable (actually carrying 44 guns) and the 36-gun HMS Amazon, had been ordered to patrol the seas off Ushant in an attempt to intercept the returning French force and sighted Droits de l'Homme on the afternoon of 13 January.

The engagement lasted from early evening until near dawn in an increasing onshore gale off the rocky Breton coast. The seas were so violent that the French ship was unable to open her lower gun ports during the action and could only fire with her upper deck guns. This significantly reduced the overwhelming advantage that a ship of the line would normally have over a frigate. The damage inflicted by the more manoeuvrable British vessels was so severe that as the winds increased, the French crew lost steerage and Droits de l'Homme was swept onto a sandbar and later destroyed.

it's been a crazy week.

oday was fun! i bought an ipod nano. haha. with my money, but also along with both my parents' consent of course. haha! i saw i nike jacket that is super nice. and i swear to have one by the end of this year. omg. i'm so greedy. i wonder if my dad can take it. haha. he was so shocked with a chose a 30bucks silicon case for my new ipod. sighs. it's not that i always go for the expensive stuffs and all, but, hmms. i treat all of these as an investment. one that i will never regret. afterall, you get what you paid? haha. or something like that. hmms. so i hope i won't regret. at least i haven't. and i'm so going to get a nike jacket for myself. sighs why does christmas and my birthday fall so near? now i don't have a reason to ask my parents to get stuffs for me. -.-

today everyone came to my house for lunch. we had curry, hotpot and one other dish i don't know the name of. ahma brought a dish with 7veggies in it. ghaha. everyone said it was nice, but i didn't give it a try. lols/ shot some pictures here and there, blah blah blah. then went to jasmine's new home, and shot more pictures. i love that house man! although i've already been there once, i've got a better feeling of it this time rund having to go there in the day instead of at night. their huge balcony really reminds me of the 'can i have this dance' scene in hsm3 lor! and there's i hamahock too. MY GOD. i shot some pictures of the house, but i don't think i'll be putting them up here. haha.

wed thurs and fri were school days, so we went to school lor. most of us were still in the new year mood la. haha. isabel and i and other few friends still go to the library often to finish up our homework and such. and i think i'm getting my focus back again. hopefully i won't lose it soon after and get emo. hahaa! i was perfect on the school health check. WHAHHAS! i'm a healthy kid! lols! bernice got problems with one of her eye. the one that's sore a few days ago. blame on the sore. but my dad says her sight will get better as days go by when her eye fully recovers. i hope so too. hahaa. and i was lucky not to kena the fire injections after all these years. lols. so there goes my last school health check. and there's no more dental too, I THINK. haha!

visitation during new year was a blast. other than going to the usual places we will go every year like my uncle's house to eat popiah and blah, this time i went visiting with isabel shuhui weiloke and zijian. on sunday we agreed to meet up and our 1st stop: my holy meetiao ahma's house. lols. had to wait for shuhui to return from msia and played 'stress' with the boys. so fun! so long nv play liao i abit sotong liddat la. haha! then we went to ahms's to eat meetiao for lunch and played games like bingo and such. we gambled using sweets too! hahaha!

then we went to shuhui's house and yack. weiloke's house to ransack his room and play mahjong. then my house for dinner and ransacking of my room.hmms i wonder if i should put up the video? hmms. MAYBE. LOLS! we had a fun time la. great way to end off the cny holidays. haha.
